DIY 2019 Calendar Silkscreen Workshop

We believe that everyone has the ability to be creative, however, work and life expectations inhibit that part of us. It’s important that we engage with our creative side once in a while. If you’re already a creative person, you can delve even deeper into that creative realm by participating in a series of workshops that we’ll be conducting over the next 3 months.

It’s the time of the year when you throw out all your junk and buy new planners to welcome the New Year.

It’s a yearly habit for most people. It could mean having the same old routine of buying new calendars that is eventually going to be tossed out of the house after it has served its purpose.

Create functional art that you will be proud of! Let it hang on your wall for the next 365 days and after!

At this workshop, you will design and silkscreen your very own A2 art print and calendar print with the guidance of our skilled designers and print-makers. You will learn the process of silkscreen and various ink applications to achieve a one of a kind calendar/art print!

Suitable for ages 16 and up.

ABOUT

Knuckles & Notch - We are a Risograph publishing and print studio based in Singapore. Our concept of exploring possibilities of print and colour often translates to a series of empirical productions with a hint of morbid humour. In collaboration with other creatives who are willing to push boundaries, we enlighten the public with bright colours and engage them into a waking dream. In addition to creating quirky works, we aim to provide anyone with a sense of aesthetics as an alternative to the conventional printing processes available. We dip towards working with those that seek to achieve effects that differ from mainstream printings.
